Short- and long-term illnesses can affect every aspect of our lives, including relationships, work, and the overall quality of life.
Whether it’s happened to you or someone you love, it can literally pull the rug from under your feet and send you all crashing to the ground, leaving you in shock, lost and grieving for what you once had.
You may find your energy levels are significantly less, or you are restricted in what is physically possible, or you may be seeing someone you love going through this, which can be distressing and change your own life.
We can look at practical ways to support you while also addressing the emotional impact, which often involves shock, anxiety, depression, trauma and grief associated with the changes you are experiencing.
We may not be able to change the health condition/s but we can look at creating a life around it rather than it controlling everything.
My life and health coaching sits within the same ethical and trauma-informed framework as my counselling.
