Tailoring counselling sessions to suit you
A calm space for one-to-one counselling in Blandford, Dorset, and online across the UK
Counselling is your space, and the way we work together should feel safe, supportive, and right for you.
Whether you are accessing counselling, coaching, or supervision in-person or online I am open to exploring different ways of working so therapy can adapt to your needs, rather than you having to adapt to it.
This can be especially helpful for people who find traditional session structures less comfortable or supportive.
What counselling sessions may look like
Counselling sessions can be shorter, longer, or more frequent rather than the standard hour.
You may prefer a more visual or practical approach, or find it helpful to receive brief reflections after sessions.
There may be times when more structure feels helpful, and other times when it’s more supportive to follow what naturally emerges in the moment.
How you can use the space in sessions
Some people benefit from a quieter environment with fewer distractions, or from being able to move, fidget, or change position during sessions.
You are welcome to bring anything that helps you feel grounded, such as a blanket or comfort object
Ways to meet: in-person, online, or by telephone
Sessions can take place in person, online, or by telephone, depending on what works best for you.
The aim is to work in a way that feels manageable, supportive, and right for you.
